Competitions

The Roberts Academy, being registered with the world-wide Irish Dancing Commission - An Coimisiun, allows your child to compete at Irish Dancing competitions or "feiseanna" locally, interstate and internationally. Levels your child will progress through are:

• Beginner
• Primary
• Intermediate
• Open

Several competitions are held in Adelaide each year, giving dancers the chance to display their skills, and work through the levels. Pupils who wish to can also compete interstate, with the school even travelling as a group to some of the larger interstate feiseanna such as the Gold Coast Feis. The Feis Calendar lists all Australian and some of the international competitions.

Open dancers are also eligible, if selected, to represent the Roberts Academy at State, National and International Championships and if highly successful even the World Championships.
